August 4-10 is Homelessness Week. With 26,000 young homeless Australians out there and 70% of them homeless due to family violence/child abuse or family breakdown, its a matter we really need to rectify.
At Youth Futures we offer young people experiencing homelessness a holistic service, empowering them to take control of their future and be the best version of themselves. Students and staff, pictured here, from Comet Albany will be participating in the Albany BIG Sleep Out event to raise awareness and funds in the name of Homelessness Week. Check out Youth Futures' Facebook page for insights into the lives and challenges of some of the young people we support.
